Brunimations live is my bilingual live streaming channel. The content I make is mostly me playing games with my friends, sharing my commission process when I am given the permission by the clients as well as the process for my personal projects.
In order to make the experience unique and fun for the viewers, I make several different assets that bring personality to the table. This portfolio page explores and showcases those assets and the process behind them.

Using Blender shape keys, I also created a few different emotions that I can switch whenever I want with a few keyboard shortcuts
I would say that the main component of my live streams is my VTuber model. It is simply a 3D model of my character that has been rigged in Blender, developed using a Unity VRM kit, and uses the program VSeeFace in order to convert my real life movement and talk into animation.

Character & Model Creation
Besides creating the Rig, I also designed the character myself, modeled it using Maya, sculpted the high poly version in MudBox in order to create the normal map, and made the textures in Photoshop.

Overlay Creation
Another element that can’t be left aside when it comes to live streams is the overlay. They are basically the border that houses the content, it’s where people's chat messages will appear among other stream elements.
Since I wanted to convey this “handcrafted” feeling for my content, I created an overlay to look like it was made with tape and cardboard… literally.
To achieve this effect I used a printer scanner and scanned a bunch of cardboard scraps that I had, different segments of tape, popsicle sticks, and other materials that someone would use in arts and crafts.
After having the scanned materials I placed them in Clip Studio Paint and started to distort the PNGs and shading them to look like it was made in real life.
